Surgical extractions
Complex tooth extractions may need surgical intervention for a successful outcome. During a surgical extraction, we make a small cut in your gum to access your tooth, which may be broken, stuck or concealed under the gum. We ensure the affected area is numbed so you won’t feel any pain. We may also need to remove larger teeth in parts.
Wisdom tooth removal
If you have a wisdom tooth that is impacted, infected, causing you pain, or compromising your other teeth by growing at an angle, we need to remove it to protect your oral health. Wisdom tooth removal is a common oral surgical procedure and performed regularly at our practice.
Gum surgery
We use innovative laser technology for some gum surgery procedures, promoting comfortable treatment and precise results. We can use lasers to recontour your gum and enhance appearance, to reduce infection from impacted wisdom teeth, and to perform a frenectomy to help close gaps between teeth.
